6-Year-Old Girl with Autism Has Unbreakable Bond with Her Cat

6-year-old Iris Grace Halmshaw struggled to come out of her shell until her mom introduced her to Thula, a Maine coon cat. Iris, was diagnosed with autism in 2011 when she was 2-years-old. Carter-Johnson was exploring the idea of getting her daughter a furry companion when she brought home Thula. When she did, Iris’ life began to change. Iris has become famous for her artwork which has been purchased by Angelina Jolie. Iris’ life has been transformed thanks her relationship with her cat.
