Ruth, a cat and Idgie a dog were abandoned at someone’s driveway. Both of them were picked up and taken to an Animal Control where they grew their friendship and share a unique bond. And now, they are pretty much inseparable. Their names were after “Fried green tomatoes” because of the special bond they have.

Frozen Kitten Finds New Best Friend

Thanksgiving morning we awoke to about a foot of freshly fallen snow! It was exciting and the kids ran right out the front door to play in it. About 30 seconds into the fun my son stumbled over what appeared to be a frozen, lifeless kitten.

My younger brother came over and went to touch it, assuming it would be frozen stiff. But the body was still limp. He picked the kitten up and rushed it inside to be by the fireplace.

We’ve never had a cat but I have never known kittens to follow you around like puppies but that’s exactly what this little guy does with me. He walks between my feet everywhere I go, and I mean everywhere! He lives on my lap, shoulders, head, wrapped around my calf, and pretty much anywhere he can get my attention.

Such an incredible recovery and couldn’t be more happy about my new best bud.

When a Cat chooses you. it’s pure joy.

A caring cat lady has given up her 4,200 square foot home to more than a thousand felines. Sixty-seven-year-old Lynea Lattanzio now lives in a trailer on her six acre property and allows the cats to run freely through the five bedroom house. Today she runs Cat House On The Kings which is California’s largest no-cage, no kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats. Lynea and her team of volunteers care for about 800 adult cats and 300 kittens. The team starts feedings at the shelter at 4am and they also give medical attention to critically ill cats.

Homeless Kitten Meets Husky Dog For The First Time

This video is of Lilo and Misty’s first night together. It was so wonderful they got along from the start Misty was originally found on the street at about 2 weeks old. Since she was so small, hand rearing her was going to be a huge job… We were able to rent a trap from our local shelter and managed to catch the mother cat. We housed them for a month or so until Misty was strong enough to be on her own. Then we got the mom cat fixed and released her!

She is doing well to this day Misty had her own misfortunes, including malnutrition, fleas, worms, and almost losing both eyes to infection. She pulled through and is now 16 weeks old!! She has grown into a very spunky personality and isn’t afraid to take on anything bigger than her. Another fact about her is that she is a polydactyl! She actually has 5 toes on each foot, instead of the normal 4. This makes it look like she has thumbs! We only intended to foster her until she was ready for a new home… But now it looks like we can’t give her up! You were home all along Misty

Determined Stray Kitten Chooses A Human And Won’t Take ‘No’ For An Answer

It was a regular sunny day for a man named Kawasaki Hina when he got stopped and surprised by someone who was following him.

According to Kawasaki Hina, He was walking home through a local park one summer when this tiny stray kitten stopped him and asked him to be her human. The persistent kitten wouldn’t let him go anywhere without her and was following him around like a little duckling.

That moment, Kawasaki Hina’s heart was already captured and couldn’t say ‘no’ to this kitten. It’s like this tiny kitten gave him an offer he can’t refuse. After a few seconds of meeting the kitten, he decided to take her and put it in a box for the kitten’s safety.

After getting home, the kitten thanked him by cuddling next to him for a nap. She completely made herself at home.

“Vell-chan, who was a stray, has finally come around to showing interest in KanColle, watching anime, licking my character bottles, and playing instruments.” @Kawasaki_Hina said.

Meet Miss Sally Anne, The Abandoned Mustache Cat Who Gets A Second Chance At Life

This abandoned kitten is feline fine after her adorable mustache led to her being adopted in a week. Sally Ann was abandoned in a Salvation Army donation bin late last month but came to national attention because of her unusual facial marking. The Salvation Army immediately contacted The Cat House on the Kings animal shelter in northern California who made sure she was in tip-top health. Once the cute kitty was spayed and thoroughly checked over she went to start her new life with Mike and Sue Salvador who first saw her when she appeared on the news.
