Kitten Survives Nearly 600-Mile Ride Under Hood Of Car

Last week, a man named Lance Gallimore noticed a kitten outside in the snow near his home at Fort Drum, New York.

“Every time I would get closer, she would just run off or wander off,” said Gallimore. “I just assumed that she had frozen to be honest.”

He thought he lost the kitten but after a few days, They were driving down Interstate 81 to travel to Roanoke to see family and when they stopped at a gas station to fill up. Gallimore was surprised when he saw the same kitten under the car’s hood.

“Something told me to open the hood and when I opened the hood, sure enough, there she was,” he said.

Harvey the four-month-old rescue kitten is looking forward to a purr-fect future despite being born with bones missing from his front legs. The floppy feline, who has a rare condition called Radial Agenesis, was spotted and saved from a cruel owner – who sold him on GUMTREE.

An X-ray revealed that Harvey’s ulna and radius bones, which connect the upper half of his front legs to his paws, were missing. The white kitten is now waiting for an operation to replace the bones with metal pins thanks to the efforts of animal charity Cats Protection.

A Briton claims she owns the world’s oldest cat – a 27-year-old one-eyed moggy who has been run over an incredible 25 TIMES. Pam Dillon, 55, says her pet Tuppence was born in 1987 – which beats the current official World Record Holder Tiffany Two, who lives in the USA, by one year.

A Kitten Trapped in a Car Spring Miraculously Survived After a Long Drive – Thanks To These Kind Men

A Russian driver was surprised after he found a cat stuck in the most unusual place – his jeep’s suspension spring.

Vitaliy Bouranin, 32, said that he didn’t heard or notice the cat when he’d climbed into his Toyota Land Cruiser to set off on a business trip in Sakhalin, Russia.

But after a few hours of travelling 50 miles at speeds of over 80mph he decided to stop at a petrol station to fill up.

Bouranin said: ‘As I was filling up, I heard a noise that sounded like a cat meowing. I thought it might be under the car so when I put the fuel nozzle back I looked under the car and couldn’t see it, but I could still hear it.

‘After several minutes of inspecting the car I found a patch of fur and realized the cat somehow ended up inside the car’s suspension.

‘I have no idea how long it was there, or far more importantly, no idea how it got there. I would have said it was impossible for a cat to get in the middle of a spring like that but somehow it had managed it.’

Vitaliy Bouranin immediately asked an attendant for help, but he couldn’t get the cat out.

Staff then called the police and fire service who eventually decided the only thing to do was dismantle the car and remove the suspension spring.

Surprisingly, the cat stayed calm throughout the three-hour ordeal to free him.

He was then put into a box so he could be taken back to the large Russian island in the North Pacific Ocean in southeast Russia where his epic journey had begun.

This Fluffy Persian Cat is All Smiles After Realizing He’s Going to His Forever Home

Meet Brimely, The adorable rescue cat who can’t stop smiling after a kind-hearted man adopted him.

Brimley the cat was previously owned by a neglectful breeder. and while living with his previous owner, He suffered and had eye problems that requires surgery. Fortunately, He was rescued before it gets worse. He was immediately brought to the animal hospital to get treated. After spending some time in the hospital, he was able to open his eyes again and saw his foster dad for the first time. Brimley instantly felt something special with him and he couldn’t stop smiling after that.

“I’ve actually never been much of a cat person, but completely fell in love with Brimley the second I met him. He’s such a sweetheart, relishes having a good home for the first time,” he said via reddit.

Brimley decided to stay in his foster home. His foster dad felt the same. In fact, His dad fell in love and decided to adopt Brimley permanently.

It is difficult to quantify the will to live, but a tiny kitten that was set on fire and nearly burned to death is as good an example as any.

Wrapped in towels in a cage at the Animal Hospital of Cotati, Adam the cat is struggling to survive against all odds.

The kitten was only 8 weeks old June 19 when two 15-year-old girls allegedly poured flammable liquid on him while he was trapped in a cage and lit a match.

An 11-year-old boy and his friend saw the smoke and heard the cat shrieking amid what they described as the girls’ laughter. They found the kitten cowering near death in bushes next to a creek and brought him to the apartment manager.

The girls, whose names have not been released, were charged in Sonoma County Juvenile Court with felony cruelty to animals last week after an intensive search, a $10,000 reward fund and a Bay Area-wide furor.

A 4-year-old ginger cat from the Philippines stowed away in a container ship headed from Manila, Philippines, to Los Angeles is gaining weight and getting stronger after the 7300-mile trip without food and water left it near death.

The LA County Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC) said the cat was found inside a freight container at a business on the 100 block of S. Grand Avenue in the City of Industry on July 16. The ginger cat is very weak and frail from being without food or water the entire three-week trip from Manila.

“We believe she was living at the port in Manila and wandered into a shipping container,” said Jacquie Green of the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. “It was warm and dry and seemed like a safe place to spend some time.”

The cat is now in fair condition at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center’s medical unit. The staff named her Pinay, which is a common term for a female Filipino, to keep with her roots.

He was rehomed twice because he didn’t play well with other cats – but he’s now found a loving home where his size doesn’t matter. New owners Andrew Milicia and Emily Zervos adopted problem pet Pickles after spotting him at a Boston MSPCA shelter — and are still getting to grips with their giant cat.

Pickles is also known as the Catasaurus Cat because of his huge body

Andrew said ‘When we first saw Pickles he looked like such a beast – but he looked really cool. He’s actually bigger than some dogs.

‘It didn’t take him long to make himself at home and now he takes up most of the couch when he’s laid out’

“He really doesn’t know his size at all, he thinks he’s just a little kitten still. He’s a ladies man, he definitely like cuddling up with me alot” Emily said.

Pickles is definitely part of the family now. He’s so much fun. We love him.
